Last week, I had myself a little holiday and hopped on a plane to visit my boyfriend, Josh, in Spain. Obviously, it was great seeing him after months apart but also lovely to be in the city of Malaga, rather than my uni bedroom lol. 

On this day out in the city where I spent too way much money (surprise surprise.. no regrets tho x), I wore a 90s style double denim outfit. My denim jacket is from Primark (which I cropped myself), printed top from Zara, denim skirt from ASOS (which I also cropped myself haha), platform shoes from Zara, backpack and pompom from New Look and originally sunglasses from Topshop.. then I bought new ones. 

In the top picture (that ice-cream was delicious btw), I am wearing one of my purchases from the day; an amazing pair of mango sunglasses! I tried them on once and had to buy them, I mean LOOOOK. Yup, I am in love. Josh laughed at me when I said they are going to be my winter sunglasses. I mean.. YEAH, who says you can't wear sunglasses all year round, even when its snowing?

Overall, I think this outfit was perfect for the temperature; not too hot but not too cold. I think any skirt and jacket combo is perfect for this season, or even a skirt with boots and a chunky knit jumper! Also, I think it's so cool to try and match different pieces in your wardrobe together, like I did with my denim jacket and skirt. I didn't buy them as a co-ord and the colours are slightly different, but I think it still works and I LOVE when things match together -whether it be matching your eyeshadow with your trousers or matching your lipstick with your shoes!

So yeah, I encourage the matchy matchy look.
