At the beginning of summer, I was eyeing up so many printed trousers from Zara. I saw this pair on the website and I also saw my favourite blogger (Matilda Djerf) wearing them. I instantly fell in love. They went on sale from £40 to £20 so I had to purchase them!

When I received them in the post, I had no clue how I was going to style them. On the Zara website, they styled it with a black top, but I thought black was too harsh against the print and colours. Matilda wore the trousers with a white shirt and I too thought white would look better with them rather than black.

To keep it simple, I wore a plain white t shirt from Topshop then tied a knot in the front. I also styled the trousers with my metallic gold sandals from Topshop, my pink Zara shopper bag and a pair of large hoops. I love the extra bit of colour my pink bag gives and the pop of gold on my sandals!

So basically to sum this post up: If all else fails, you can always rely on a white tee!
