WHAT AN IRISH GIRL DID ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY

05:28

After a loooong term at uni, I finally flew back home to Northern Ireland for Easter. Thankfully it was St. Paddy's day the day after I arrived, so I got to celebrate it on Irish soil!

Surprisingly for N. Ireland, it was a lovely sunny day with clear skies; a perfect day to watch the duck dive (and take instagrams and blog pictures). The duck dive is an event on St. Patricks day where people dress up in funny costumes and jump into the freezing sea, while raising money for charity. Would I ever do it? Yes... if I could swim that is.

In the afternoon, my boyfriend and I went on a walk with my dog, Lily. This walk consisted of "Josh take pictures of me!" and "Ew no, take it again at a better angle" while dog walkers strolled by giving us funny looks.

I wore my sister's (I stole it from her wardrobe) Topshop grey blazer style coat, Primark black jumper, Forever 21 beige jeans, Topshop round sunglasses (which a snapped in half by accidentally half way through the walk), Topshop leather bag and my white Nike air force 1s.

Topshop sunglasses and bag, Calvin Klein bralatte and Forever 21 jeans.

In the evening, My friend and I planned a night out. The bar we wanted to go to wouldn't let us in as it was sooo packed (I did try to sneak in but that didn't work lol). So we opted for another club across the road that we had never been to before. It was newly decorated so it was quite fancy, but the drunk Irish people.. not so fancy haha.

The club had a live band downstairs to get us in the St. Patricks day spirit. Songs consisted of "Galway Girl", when random guys would drunkenly come up to me and point to me when singing "her hair was black and her eyes were blue". Unfortunately for them I have green eyes.. always an awkward moment when I break it to them.

I wore a Zara top and American Apparel disco pants.

Hope you enjoyed reading this little update post. Probably my favourite St. Patricks day to date!

Hope x
